What are the rules and pre-reads for a quiz?

Apart from the rules mentioned with the quiz page, here are some general rules and pre-reads -

1. All quiz games are purely a competition for your knowledge and should be played accordingly.  

2. One person may open only one quiz account for fair play.

3. If a winner is not contactable within five working days from the result announcement, he or she will forfeit the prize and another winner will be selected from the remaining eligible entries in accordance with the above process until a winner is selected and can be contacted.

4. Before playing quizzes, read T&Cs on our website.

5. There is no negative point for any wrong answer.

6. Is Quiz gambling ? No, never and absolutely not. Our games are entirely games of skill. It’s all about what you know and using that knowledge while under pressure. Challenging and rewarding yes, but gambling no.

7. Once submitted, an entry cannot be withdrawn.

8. The participant shall abide by all the rules and regulations of participating in the quiz from time to time.

9. Entries received outside of the mentioned time/dates will not be valid.

10. One entrant can participate only once. Multiple entries from the same entrant will not be considered and will be discarded.

11. A registered participant who tries to impersonate someone and attempts the quiz shall be disbarred from the quiz and his/her entry shall be excluded from our response server.

12. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, organizers reserve the right to amend or withdraw the quiz at any time. For the avoidance of doubt, this includes the right to amend these terms and conditions.

13. Selection, reaching out to the winners, and dispatch of the mentioned prize will be done by Majorons Media. D2C will be having no role in the aforementioned processes.

14. All of the prize money and certificates shall be disbursed electronically.

15. The organizer's decision on the quiz shall be final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the same.

16. Participants are required to furnish their details like name, email address, telephone number, and postal address. By submitting your contact details, you will give consent to these details being used for the purpose of the quiz.

17. Organizers will not accept any responsibility for entries that are lost, are late or incomplete, or have not been transmitted due to computer error or any other error beyond the organizer's reasonable control. Please note, proof of submission of the entry is not proof of receipt of the same.

18. The organizer's reserve all the rights to disqualify or refuse participation to any participant if they deem participation or association of any participant which is detrimental to the quiz or the organizers or partners of the quiz. The registrations shall be void if the information received by the organizers is illegible, incomplete, damaged, false, or erroneous.

19. The winner shall be contacted by Majorons Media to verify his/her credentials and institutional affiliation. In case, the winning participant is found to be misrepresenting or failure of the participant to produce sufficient evidence about his/her institutional affiliation shall render the winning participant disqualified. In that case, the next available candidate with the highest score shall be declared as the winner.

20. The results shall be duly uploaded on our websites within 7 days of the successful completion of the quiz.
